Mayor Michael Bloomberg MUST have smoked weed - Maybe even in the recent past?
In an interview on February 15th, Mayor Bloomberg out of New York delivered his comments on the legalization of marijuana. Unfortunately, aside from his great movement toward the decriminalization of low-level marijuana possession, he opposes the legalization of the herb. But, why? Well, Bloomberg says the stuff is just too strong and not like it used to be in the past. In addition, Bloomberg mention the possible repercussions of legalizing marijuana, saying that it could lead to the criminal dealers resorting to selling other, more powerful and addictive drugs. He specifically mentioned coke (cocaine), but definitely implied more. So, how could Mayor Bloomberg know that the weed is "just too strong" now-a-days? Cant be sure, but I am assuming he had multiple people describe the high in detail, or, a more likely scenario, he has experienced it himself. That would be pretty cool, and not too different from his past. Bloomberg actually admitted to token on the herb as a kid, even saying that he personally enjoyed. Pretty sweet.
Who cares if Bloomberg used to toke up; we should just be happy with the direction the laws are going. People in states that are following in New York's footsteps, in terms of the marijuana laws, are experiencing things easier, especially for the people that carry their beloved paraphernalia. No longer do you have to get busted with Cheap Dugouts, Marijuana Grinders, or even your personalized zippo lighter and a little sac of bud with you. At least be satisfied with that, and hope for more improvements (Hopefully in the near future).
